Husband of WimberleyArts founder and past president Cathy Moreman, Robert was a great supporter of this organization since its inception in 2013, enthusiastically participating in WimberleyArts activities and supporting the growth of arts and culture in this community.

Robert worked in the homebuilding industry for most of his career. He had a passion for building and craftsmanship and a life-long interest the construction trades. He left us tragically on September 3rd, 2020, a tremendous loss to his family and friends, the Wimberley Valley, WimberleyArts and all who knew him.

WimberleyArts' plan is to fund and award this scholarship annually to make sure Robert’s memory remains alive and well far into the future, and as his legacy, that qualified Wimberley students receive tangible encouragement to pursue advanced education in the arts and trades.

The Wimberley Valley Arts and Cultural Alliance promotes a vibrant cultural arts community through appreciation, collaboration and education, embracing all forms of art and culture, including the organization’s four pillars: visual, performing, literary and culinary arts.
