SCHOLARSHIP APPLICANTS

ROBERT MOREMAN MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION GUIDELINES

Deadline April 15th of the Graduating Year

The Robert Moreman Memorial Scholarship (RMMS) is available to graduating seniors from Wimberley High School (WHS) and Katherine Anne Porter School (KAPS) in Wimberley, Texas. Home-schools seniors in the 78676 zip code and Wimberley graduates who have taken a single gap year are also encouraged to apply. The goal is to fund multiple $5000+ scholarships annually, depending on available funds.

Students applying for this scholarship need to show how their continuing education will support one or more of Wimberley Valley Arts and Cultural Alliance (WimberleyArts.org)’s artistic pillars: visual, performing, literary and culinary arts, OR how they plan to develop skills for careers in the building trades.

Scholarships will be awarded to students seeking higher education in colleges and community colleges, universities or after high school technical, trade schools or skills-based programs. While academic performance (grades) will be considered during the selection process, this is not the primary criterion when selecting the scholarship recipients. See specific requirements below.

APPLICATION PROCESS

Both online and downloadable applications for the “Robert Moreman Memorial Scholarship” (RMMS) are available through this website.

Must be submitted between January 1st and no later than April 15th of graduating year.
