Here in Wimberley my current passion involves designing found object art, a natural extension of my involvement in the annual Houston Art Car Parade where the Save the Sea Turtle car created by my former middle school students took home 2 awards. Art cars not being the most dependable vehicles, it proudly rolled for several years. In Houston I was also a participating artist in the annual Day of The Dead Retablo Exhibition at the Lawndale Art Center.
Playing around with writing and some early forays into painting also keep me happy. And of course, travel never gets old.
While living in Taos, New Mexico I worked for the Artists of Taos Catalog and the Collectors Guide of Taos & Santa Fe. And there was never a dull moment managing a gallery for the legendary Jim Wagner.
